Recently, Globes Chemical LTD and Daugavpils University reached a cooperation agreement on industry-academia-research collaboration, with both parties signing the agreement in the Globes Chemical LTD auditorium.

Daugavpils University (DU) is a public university in Daugavpils, Latvia, founded in 1921 as a teacher-training college and now the largest regional state university in Eastern Latvia. It offers over 50 study programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, many taught in English, and has a strong focus on research in areas such as nanotechnology, biodiversity, and social sciences. DU also participates in international programs and provides support for its international student population.
